Film screenings are complemented by a variety of special events.
Filmmaker
Osvalde Lewat will be presenting a
documentary masterclass in addition to the screening of her film
Black Business.
The screenings of
This is My Africa and Beyond Freedom will be preceded by a
wine tasting of South African wine.
The screening of the documentary
As Old As My Tongue will be followed by an Afro-Scottish Club Night
at the Bongo Club.
The African animation screenings will be complemented by an African
storytelling event and an animation workshop for children.
Film critic, writer, producer and AiM advisor Mark Cousins will introduce his latest book at a book launch and signing event.
The screenings of the two Bushmen documentaries will be followed by a
panel discussion and complemented by an exhibition of Bushmen art work and jewellery.
